BuzzPinky Beginner Metal Jewelled Anal Plug Review

I learned two things in this BuzzPinky Beginner Metal Jewelled Anal Plug Large Pink Review: I really need to start looking at the sizes of things before I buy them, and shiny butt plugs are really difficult to photograph without looking like one of those trying-to-sell-a-mirror people that you always see on Facebook. Due to the latter, you are not getting good photos. Sorry. I can’t deal with that level of anonymity-busting stress.

A Little Background

I’ve had a hate-to-love relationship with all things anal. Enemies-to-lovers, if you will. Without being too unsexy, there’s only so much you can try and make an asshole hot once you’ve had one too many colonoscopies and a couple of traumatic anal experiences under your belt. That’s what I thought, anyway.

However (and it’s a big however,) when you haven’t had sex or any kind of real intimacy (aside from the odd bit of phone sex) in seven years, you start to get a little experimental. I certainly did. The humble butt plug was the next logical step in a masturbatory journey that has taken me to some deep and dark places at times. You would not believe the things that I’ve humped. That’s a story for another blog post, though.

BuzzPinky Beginner Metal Jewelled Anal Plug Large Pink Review

I ordered this delightfully shiny new toy from BuzzPinky, along with:

It cost me the grand total of £6.99 because it was in the sale. You know how much I love a good sale. I might be a cheapskate.

I paid for the toy myself. (It’s not sponsored/PR/etc.)

Specs

This plug was marketed as a “beginner” butt plug. That word was in the product title and plastered everywhere on the product page. That’s why I bought it. No, before you ask, I didn’t look at the size (or full product name, apparently.) I never do. That’s why I’ve got a cat tree that is 185cm+ in size, that just about fits in one specific spot in my slanted-roof flat. I’m 161-2cm, depending on how much I’m slouching. I had to climb in the cat tree, to build the damn thing.

Anyway, cat trees and my bad sizing aside, this butt plug is not – I repeat: not – a beginners butt plug. It’s nowhere close to a beginners butt plug. I screamed a little bit when I opened it. I’m marking them down for lying to me. I don’t know whose butt they measured when they named this, but it most definitely was not my butt. Mine is not ‘beginners, but large.’

What even is that? Pffft.

(I still whacked it up my butt, though. Maybe that says something about me…?)

1/10… because how can you have “beginners” and “large” in the same sentence when it comes to butt plugs?

Oh, it’s 9 cm long. That’s probably important. It’s much heavier than I thought, too – in a good way. It felt durable and sturdy, and that’s just what I’m looking for, when I’m shoving things up my ass.

Packaging

This ‘anal plug’ came in a little drawstring velvet ‘travel’ bag (black.) Inside that, it was wrapped in soft foam, which was kept in place with an elastic band. No cleaning instructions, no use-lube announcement, no nothing. I had to google “how to safely clean a butt plug.” I know it’s hardly a great hardship, but some sort of maintenance and care pamphlet would’ve been nice, you know?

Still, at least it was safely packaged for shopping.

5/10 – could be better, but also could be worse.

Design

I love the pink jewel, which I know some folks will find tacky. I don’t care, though. Why wouldn’t I want my butthole to be sparkly and pink? I’d also love a tail butt plug, if you even care.

The ‘handle’ of this one is big and sturdy enough to pop the anal plug out afterwards, and it feels heavy and durable. Heavier than I thought, anyway. It would make a great paperweight if you ever wanted to display it.

Always remember that butt holes require toys with a flared base. No flared base = one embarrassing trip to the hospital. Call me, though. I would love to witness that trip.

Anyway, aside from a few seams/lines that look worse than they feel, I have no issue with the design. There’s the size issue, obviously, but we’ve been over that already. I plan to get myself a smaller one in the same style at some point.

7/10 – again, could be better, but also could be worse.

Orgasmability

Now, I think it’s fairly obvious that my BuzzPinky Metal Jewelled Anal Plug isn’t exactly for on-its-own use. Using that toy alone is not enough to make me come… I don’t think. It does make for a really great orgasm enhancer, though. If you want your head to blow clean off, you need to pop one of these in. Probably a smaller one than this “beginners” one if you’re a real beginner.

If I have the time and inclination, I like to take my time, insert the butt plug (using plenty of lubricant, obviously,) then use my fingers on my clit to make myself come. I’ve also used it with my suction cup dildos; although, that was a bit of a squeeze and took some work. On the plus side, I’ve discovered that I really enjoy double penetration because of this investment (and anal plug review.)

It probably goes without saying that I’ve used it with my Satisfyer 2 Pro, too. That’s my favourite toy-slash-accessory combination at the moment. 10/10 no notes.

I can’t wait to try my butt plug with a real man instead of my silicone dicks. That’s the power of masturbation, folks: you just never know what you might like next.

10/10 – five-star orgasms every time.

As Advertised?

I don’t bloody think so. There’s nothing beginner about the BuzzPinky Beginner Metal Jewelled Anal Plug (Large Pink.) I feel like I threw myself in at the deep end, but I survived it, so it’s fine. There’s a small version of it, but I clearly didn’t realise that when I ordered mine. Honestly. That’s more my fault than it is theirs, but it’s still not a beginners anal plug in any way, shape, or form.

BuzzPinky Beginner Metal Jewelled Anal Plug Review: Conclusion

I don’t really know how to rate this butt plug, because, on one hand, it was considerably larger than I expected; but, on the other, I actually had a really good time with it. It was a little unexpected win. That never happens to me. I’ll take it, ta.

You can read all about the spicy stuff in the spicy version, by the way: My First Butt Plug Experience. (Coming soon!)

Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. The BuzzPinky Beginner Metal Jewelled Anal Plug (Large Pink) did exactly the job it was intended… just with a few “oh, fucks” along the way.

All’s well that ends well, I suppose.
